Nice final combo. The guy helped a bit in the opening, though
Immortal?

I've always considered an immortal to have at least 2 long term positional [piece] sacrifices. Nice final combination. This game had "short" term sacrifices.

Indeed a beautifull ending and excellent played by white. I don't see a blunder, or real mistake from your side and with the queen and bishops sacrifices, you can call it immortal play from your side. But I don't think we can call it an immortal game, because the opponent is no GM. And for a game to be immortal, I think at least the player who lost should be a GM.
So immortal play by white is how I would call this game.

"Nxe7 Kxe7 23. Nc5#. Maybe he is gonna play something different, but if he moves his queen, than mate on f7"
huh? Bc5. Knight isn't a flying warrior.

Thanks for the postive reactions so far.
Yeah Alfonso I know. He played the opening terrible. As I also said in my analyses, the game was already won on move 10.
And Bob I like your suggestion of calling it immortal play. That's more humble. I also must agree that for a game to be immortal, it has to be against a Grandmaster. Unfortunately I don't see myself doing that...

C-nack, with mate on f7 I meant Qf7#, not a crazy flying Nf7# ;)
Nono, the crazy flight night was before, you wrote Nxe7 Kxe7 23. Nc5#. Mistook N with B :P

C-nack, you're very sharp. Bc4# would again be a complety bishop dragon crazy flying move. So now the be correct: 22. Nxe7 Kxe7 23. Bc5#

So, in other words, at least 2 inaccuracies?

It is an elegant combination at the end, when you have created an overwhelming postion. To be an immortal would require imo that you would create an overwhelming position starting with a sacrifice.
This is an instructive game though.

13. dxe6 is a bishop sacrifice and it leads to a dominant and winning position. So you could say that a sacirfice created an overwhelming position.
But I agree. I don't consider this game as an immortal one.

I doubt the game was won on move 10.
Well I've just request an analysis by the chess.com computer. At move 10, after castling I score 2,94! So that is equal to a bishop up. To me, that is a win.

That is right, your sacrifice of the bishop is a long term sacrifice. :-)
I would prefer 0-0 in comparison to b5, but after that move would you still have a beautiful position. The black king would be much more safer then he was now.
It is a gem for sure.

Yeah I would put that into houdini or something instead of the chess.com computer because that one is pretty bad. However I'm not denying white's great advantage.
I've read multiple topics about people claiming they played an immortal game with lots of errors and illegit sacrifices. So I'll not claiming I just played an immortal game, but I liked my game. I sacrificed two bishops and my queen and eventually mated my opponent on move 26, who is rated 1860.
So here's the game. What do you think of it?
