You shouldn't treat the French like that, theweaponking. They gave you the statue of liberty after all.

Well, it's not your typical French Defence set up by black. Anyway, I think that hole on g7 killed black early. Your tenth move, taking advantage of that hole, was very strong, as any of black's possible responces would have given you an edge. The rook sacrifice and king hunt was certainly an aesthetic way to try to finish it off but I think that it was fundamentally flawed. Your opponent actually could have won with Qe5 on move 22 instead of Kb7 (I can't see anyway for you to successfully hold off mate.)
