The Stonewall's just a fairly solid system, with good possibilities for aggressive kingside attacks or positional play; I tried it out after seeing Magnus win twice with it. It's great at my level because very few opponents play the most problematic responses (hyperaggressive f3 advance, or the fianchetto set-up).
To be honest many of your annotations to my opponents moves are either unfair (hindsight is 20/20 after all) or just wrong.
Hi all
I've been using the Stonewall system against 1.d4 for a few months now, with generally good results, but up until now I've been struggling to effectively execute the standard kingside attack. I've also been in a major slump for the last couple of weeks, which made the following game especially satisfying!
