Opponent misses a mate opportunity or two, allows for a very interesting win

If anyone can point out any spots where I could've played better (because I'm sure there are many) I'd appreciate the advice. AND, I said that my opponent had mate opportunities, but I'm not entirely sure about that... He definitely had chances to develop something in my ranks of the board. Late in the game I was very wary of f2, g2, and h2. They were very weak squares, especially with the queen and bishop where they were.

Before thinking in terms of weak squares you should look out for your own undefended pieces as well as your opponents. With best play you both could have lost at least a piece straight out of the opening.
