29...Nf5 30.Qg6+ may lead to perpetual - I'm not sure. At any rate, it makes things more complicated than they need to be.

You're right, 29...Nf5 is a bad move. 30. Qg6+ Kg8(30...Kh8 31. Qe8+) 31. Qe6+!(31. Qe8+? Bf8! 32. Qe6+ Kh8) Kf8?(31...Kh8 32. Qe8+) 32. Qxd6+ and Black risks losing.

The Queen sac wasn't sound; Black just blundered afterwards by bringing his King down.
