Just for reference, one usually plays 3.. Qa5, if I'm not mistaken

Q. c6 is an big mistake. But Besides Q.a5, Qd6 can also be played.

stryik, there are many playable queen retreats: ...Qa5, ...Qd6, ...Qd8, ...Qe5+, etc.

Yes tonydal.. same here .. fortunately I was white.. Moral is these slips occur at almost every level.. Thats why chess is fun
