Stockfish 7 vs Komodo 9.3

the only that I see is that komodo doesn't how can win with the scandinavian. what opening book are you using.

if Komodo choose 29. Qxd2 . he will get mated in 7.
29... Qxd2 {0} 30. Qh7+ {#7/51 17} Kf8 {17}
31. dxe6 {#6/58 0} Qxf2+ {#5/63 5} 32. Rxf2 {#5/123 5} Rc1+ {#4/124 7} 33. Nf1
{#4/127 2} Rxf1+ {#3/127 0} 34. Kxf1 {#3/127 0} Be2+ {#2/127 0} 35. Rxe2 {#2/
127 0} f3 {#1/127 0} 36. Qh8# {#1/127 0}

I dont know why but as i challenged them together komodo 9.3 played better than stockfish 7!(they are mostly equal but komodo is stronger in some of games)
have you crack your komodo 9.3 or that is free version?

i didn't use books in this match
It's crucial that you do. Although, FYI: Komodo 9.3 has it's own opening book built in. Stockfish 7 does not. So, SF played completely on evaluation and Komodo found a line and played it to a certain deviation.
What do you have - That Komodo 9 + Deep Fritz 14 combo from Chessbase with the 9.3 upgrade?
So not having an opening book would be good for Stockfish as it can find better moves (than book) with its evaluation?
Maybe, but it takes a particular experience to know when an engine's earlier opening eval can be trusted. In general, you should be somewhat skeptical of an engine eval in the early part of the game.
That said, Stockfish and Komodo are great at figuring out top human theory with no opening books.
If you're wondering, this match is unofficial.
