Two I'm Proud Of

Oh damn, you're absolutely right. That's the rub of annotating a game well after you played it. Thanks for catching that though, I was just trying to figure out what the idea was behind that rook move he made is all.

TWO GAMES I'M PROUD OF
Hey everyone, I'm posting this article to showcase two games wherein I feel I played particularily well. I plan on making a large post of some of my losses very soon for the chess.com community to rip apart, so please allow me this showcase as a lead up to that.
Both games are against my friend OSUBUCKEYE.
In this first game, he has an early initiative but his attack fizzles out and I'm able to make a strong counterattack on the Queenside of the board. The important themes to showcase are the ideas that you need to have all of your pieces together and coordinated in order to carry out an effective attack - you'll see that his main pieces are split on both sides of the boards and cannot assist one another. The second theme that is important is to watch the way his kingside pawn thrust actually serves to protect my king - I never castled nor did I need to, the way his pawns and mine gridlock each other creates an impenetrable barrier, allowing me to carry out my Queenside counter attack. Enjoy!
Game one: SPLITTING HIS FORCES
Game Two: THE HEROIC C-PAWN
This second game demonstrates the power of a passed pawnthrust. The final move is particularily nice. Keep your eye on the hero of this game, the c-pawn, who leaves and returns to his file, and although he is threatened many times, survives right through.
Thanks to Osubuckeye who was happy to let me post these. I'm sure he'll get me back by posting the games wherein he defeated me also!
Oh, and I may've gotten a bit !! happy... I'm pretty new to annotating games, but it is a hell of a lot of fun.
Thanks to everyone who watched these.
