What the heck happened with the board? No wonder black won, it has additional pieces on the white side.

I'm glad you posted that! I thought it was a bug with the new super-fast Firefox Quantum browser! I opened the page in Chrome and saw the same problem and wondered if there was something wrong with Flash, etc. Then I saw your comment!

White player could also consider applying some strategy rules to his game. Might work out better for him when the pieces have somewhere to go.
The Black pieces at the bottom of the board simply move to mystery squares.
keep having fun with chess....its a fun game.
On your second move, you should have gained a tempo on the knight by kicking it with 3...e4. That way, you would have a strong center and have already freed your bishops.

You played very naturally and developed an impressive advantage. I was surprised by how sound the sacrifice, 21...Nxf4 was. I thought 23. Ra2 would be defendable, but I missed 23...Bf4 24.Kc1 24...Re3!
