Your Most Embarrassing Chess Game

We all have our bad moments, but what is your worst? For me, it was a game I recently played where I lost against someone rated more than HALF of my rating. Not to mention it was a USCF rated game. Feel free to share your worst moments and explain why. I'd be surprised if anyone could top this!

In the span of 3 days...I beat a NM, drew with a 1900, and 3 days later, lost to a 500 player.

You cant make this stuff up.

Played in a 1 day tournament.  Beat the NM in the first round in a knight and pawn ending.  Drew with the 1900 in a Torre Attack, winning postion (I wanted to go to lunch)

3 days later at chess club, played and lost to a 500 player.

I hear you. At least you beat a NM?

As far as worst moments, my USCF rating was around 1414 when I drew a 1900 and a 900 in the same tournament... I mean ok, drawing 1900 was nice, but 900 was...

Against 1900, I was down a pawn in the endgame, but was able to squeeze out a draw.

Against 900, I was in a winning position, decided to go for the spectacular sacrificial combination instead of slow and safe method, missed an in-between move, lost a piece, should have lost, but he didn't have the correct endgame technique to finish me off.

As far as specific  OTB game, it would have to my very first uscf rated OTB game.

Due to long time control, I wanted to spend a lot of time on each move, but I think that backfired horribly. At every step of the way, I think I overthought and saw ghosts. Honestly, even in blitz, I couldn't have played this badly...

Once I played against a 400 in daily game and hung queen on accident. They did notice, but I ended up winning, so I will have to search further.
