Can someone please explain what this means?

Apr 14-17 or 15-17: 7SS, 40/90, SD/30, +30 (3-day option, rds 1-2 G/60, d10)

I know 7SS is 7 round swiss and that 40/90, SD/30, +30 means 40 moves in 90 minutes then 30 minutes to finish up and there's a 30 second increment. but what does "(3-day option, rds 1-2 G/60, d10)" mean?

Thanks if you know the answer!

It is distinguishing that there are two different options.

Option 1: Apr 14-17 (4 days),

  • All 7 rounds are 40/90, SD/30, +30

Option 2: Apr 15-17 (3 days)

  • First two rounds are G/60, d10 (60 minutes each clock for entire game, 10 second delay for each move)
  • After the first two rounds, then the rest of the games are the same format as option 1 (40/90, SD/30, +30)
