How should I think in this position?

Guys I need some suggestions on how I should think in tis position:

I can see that after d5 I could get an isolated pawn. I envisioned black knight going to e7 and black bishop going to b7 and rooks are coming. I can’t really see the position clearly but it SEEMS BAD Especially in 5minute games I can’t calculate much. Other moves in this position is Rfd1 or a4 which SEEMS FINE  for me. I used the word seems fine because I won’t even gonna use my time to think that.

I wonder how 2000 rating+ player would see this position and how they would think.

I think E5 is good

You shouldńt commit your pawn structure yet, because you dońt have completed development. Put your rooks on d1 and e1 and only than choose your plan depending on how black places his pieces.

D5 Is Cool.

Oh okay. That makes sense

well, there are no hanging pieces in this position, but I think i'll play Rad1.

I'm thinking that we slowly attack the black king after securing the center.

The analysis says e5 is best, though Rfd1/e1 are also good. I probably would have done e5 (because that's how my brain works, I guess) but I can definitely understand arguments for moving the rooks

Positive of e5 is creating potential outpost for knight on d6, negtive is that makes d4 pawn bakwarded and easily blockable (“You have to give squares to gez aquares” - Fischer) I guess e5 is top engine move because engines love space and see you dońt loose pawns while nit developing rooks before.

You have to give squares to get squares. I cannot write.

Intially I didn't understand e5 that much but the idea of giving up square to gain another square is interesting. I can see potential threats like Bishop to c2 and Queen to d3 .

I'm not sure if f5 is actually a threat or not. My positional evaluation not very good. It's something that I need some improvement. For now f5 doesn't look great because the d6 pawn will be pinned so black could play Kh8 before f5.

The thing is I could study this position but I rarely meet them so I dont know if it's worth my time studying or not. Also when I study one line it takes a long time because I dont know how to study and understand middlegames.

There is a famous game included this pawn structure which i fail to paste by my phone. Lev Polugaevsky vs Mikhail Tal, USSR championship 1969. Google it yourself, you will not regret.
