Focus on enemy weaknesses in the position whilst taking note of your own. Exploit your opponents and take the initiative to attack. If ur slightly losing (e.g. pawn down, bad bishop, isolated pawns) defend carefully and wait for counterattack. Basically the overarching middle game strat imo
