What I don't like about Checkers is that you are required to take any piece that you are able to. You can't decide to ignore a piece that's "capture-able". Those are the official rules. When I grew up we didn't play it that way.
Checkers is the best game.
Shame - Their are no good checkers sites.

Checkers is a dumb game. If you are not playing against someone completely id*ot, then it is a draw. I know it from experience

Chess is so much funner, and more mentally demanding than checkers.
what do you mean it is basically chess, here is why. because all you just get i just pawns moving one step diagonal and the black team wins, and my friends keep forcing me to play checkers and making fun of chess. that is why i play chess instead.
If you have a chess set you can play both chess and checkers
