1 minutes or 10 minutes?

You can become an opening specialist if you're willing to review your 3 min games, but they are 3 min games so, your openings might not matter much.

If you want to learn, play daily games. If you want to have fun, play daily games. If you want to move your pieces around like a drunken sailor, learn, and have fun, play daily games the way i play 'em. 🤣

I started out here with the 10 minute game, but my wife has those moments (many of them) when she has to tell me something and she ignores whatever I might be doing. I lost a lot of games because of being distracted by her. So, I switched to the 3 minute game, It took a little to get used to, but overall I like it better because I'm not as "invested" in each game. I will simply resign if I am forced to because of external factors. My rating goes up and down by 100+ points over a few days and it's a lot of fun building it back up and not so bad when it is going down as it's a chess education and just for fun.
I also play 3 day games with my grandson and others. That's a nice game where you can relax and put more planning into a game. I don't really care if I win or lose, it's the challenge of the game that is satisfying.
