yeah but if we go any higher than 10|0, the amount of cheaters will skyrocket. The last time i tried going higher 3/4 of my opponments played 98% accurate games

yeah i paritally agree (regardless that you were kidding) 10m is not the most optimal time control to improve. but there are some other benefits in it.
you play more games in your allocated time thus you see more patterns.. its a controversy how you should study.. there was someone just studied by 'taking a look' at master games superficially but too many of them in number.. and guy gained a significant elo in a reasonable time. so quantity also plays a role in success when used right.
it sharpens your quick decision skills.. its lowkey blitz/bullet against longer time controls.
but 15|10 has more clearer benefits when compared. still i play 10m lol

when I read this, I immediately downvoted until I saw you said jk because I am a 2000 uscf, and I play 10+0 because no one comes in any other slower time control lol
I use 10+0 simply because so far I'm having a panic attack every time I play, so 10+0 guarantees that its over after 20 min.
Today I had for the first time a game without a panic attack, so maybe its time to switch to 15|10.

anyways 10+0 is my favorite time control. It used to be blitz here but it was changed. I played it almost exclusively until I hit 2100.
I agree ten o pool is super weak
Usually they are close by move ten they just don't understand positional play then get space taken away
That's why I switched to 3|0 cause at least they are not lost by move ten to a guy who barely knows any theory except one main line of most openings
