i would say it was arond normal, maybe a bit less, but there is NO normal as every learns in different paces.

One isn't better than another. Having fun playing bullet is great stuff, while 3-0 and 5-0 are also ways to get your pulse pounding and blood pressure leaping off the charts. But will you become a good player? Most likely not.

Indeed I never felt like I am getting any better by playing blitz games it's more for fun and determining how quick of a thinker you are I definitely lost some won games just, because it took me too long to think of a good move throw mid game and I just run out of time being up a queen or something similar.
But is this a slow beginning or more on the average side of things?
