does everyone here dislike paying against g4 people you guys are giving it to much credit (we all know it superiour to everything but this is a little much)

EDIT: anyways anyone want to accept this challenge cause i bet against under 2000 i could probably go 5 games easy unbeaten
I prefer to play 1 P-KKt4 than play against it.

lolz i truly fail when reading old annotations of morphy games by the first move i was confused lol so you also like g4 i see now (if i am wrong with that assumption just screw it and tell me what you mean)

I can not imagine that anyone used it, OMG. I have found some old books (chess informant, etc...), I'm glad that we Europeans never caught that disease

Descriptive notation was used in Europe aswell, atleast in the english speaking countries.
I know that, what European English speaking countries would their be?
Hm, only one, OK 2 if you count Ireland as well.
Did you use descriptive in Sweden? We have had an algebraic and figurine one, even in the old books, well I have found some old German books before the WW2, no descriptive there.

Actually there is a kingcrusher's video at http://www.youtube.com/user/kingscrusher#p/search/0/5XdCUSF2KU8 where he had to face Basman vs this opening, and it was by no means an easy fight
i challenge anyone to beat me in a game when i play that opening
