If he wants to try to get you to blunder into mate, that's his prerogative. Just play until a 3-fold repetition or the 50-move rule. Not much else you can do unfortunately. Oh, and don't blunder into mate =)

Perhaps the opponent doesn't know that 2 knights can not force a mate.

And there is a slight chance that you blunder into mate.
