Another difference I see is that at chess.com I often get paired to the same players. Where as on lichess that is rare. So in the levels I play there are more players on lichess then on chess.com. And there is a clear difference in variants that are popular. So that is another difference. Lichess is more reliable, better performance, clear rules. Chess.com has more news, events and this weird players league. AH well. We are fortunate that there is choice.  Both sites are fun to play.

chess.com is ultra mega inflated, this site is a joke compared to lichess

I can understand the sentiment. But it does beg the question: Then what are you doing here?

i have no idea

The ratings on the other website is inflated that's why. You need to substract about 300 or 400 points to get to a rating here. The rating of this website is much closer to the actual rating (still inflated by a lot).

Some of these accounts just repeat virtually, or verbatim, the same thing consistently. /shrug

I have achieved both 2300+ blitz ratings, on chess.com and lichess and I feel like achieving it on lichess feels more like I achieved 1000 rating or something ( "walk in the park") feels very easy , without much trying or stress, whether if I try to do the same on chess.com feels more like an endless torture back and forth.

My point is even tho ratings are the same (pool of players are different of course) it feels so so so much harder on chess.com, maybe because of some lag on chess.com as well I don't know.

That's just my opinion, I'm interested to hear other strong blitzers to hear their opinions.

somebody did an experiment on the level of difficulty between lichess and chess.com. all ratings up to 2200-2300 are gonna be easier on lichess, but past that will be harder on lichess. imagine a graph with strength on the y-axis and rating on the x-axis. Lichess is series with a greater slope, with a lower strength at the start and higher strength at the end. Chess.com is a series with a lower slope (still increasing) that intersects with the Lichess series at around 2200. basically GMs who have ratings of like 3100, 3200 on chess.com will probably have around 2900 on lichess
