What is Kamsky's rating? Google search says 2706, but it is not on 2700chess.com

Official Fide ratings are not up to date ( they are not 'live' ). Kamsky's live rating is below 2700 if he is not on the list.

I myself wonder where you can look up arbitrary live ratings but I'm not aware of such source.

His loss yesterday took him just barely below 2700 for the first time in many, many years. He's maybe 2698 or 2699. He'll be back over 2700 soon, no doubt.

Kamsky has been slowly sliding out of 2700 for some time.

Grischuk getting smashed.

Looks like China is going to win 2.5 - 1.5.

Maybe 3-1 now.

Grischuk might hold the draw.

Match drawn.

I can't believe how Gata is playing. It looked like a sure win (to me anyway) when he was prying open his opponents king position. I just assumed it was a foregone conclusion. Now he's losing! For a little while I thought his opponent might hold on for the draw but now he's beating Gata. Gata needs to take a couple of rest days.

Can someone explain how India lost here ?

Must be a while since Kamsky lost to a player below 2400, with white, from a winning position.

Gata is dead lost.  Crazy game.  Of course, Gata was up late grinding out a bad game trying to hold a draw while Nakamura was partying and taking selfies so he could be rested against a 2300 IM.

Maybe it's a relay error.

Bulgaria-Russia is a possible match in the next round, if so that could mean that Topalov gets the chance to win his fourth (!) white game in a row against Kramnik.

The Russian team could just put Grischuk on its first board.

Just a short question in between: Does the performance at the olympiad affect a player's FIDE rating?
