Am I the only one fascinated by this? Someone who's strong enough to reach well into GM strength but hasn't been able to get norms?
Look at Spanish IM Daniel Forcen Esteban for example.
It looks like when he plays there's just not much of a chance for norms due to the fields he's playing against.
