i might empoly a bit of a unorthodox plan where ill get to 550 rapid, then switch to blitz and continue until 550, then switch back until 600 and so on, might suffer from tilting but im willing to take the risk.

this variation actually doesnt work bc black can just take the knight

the right way to do it would be to first play h3 and if black retreats the bishop to h5, only then can you play Nxe5, and the difference here is that if black plays Nxe5, you can take the bishop

the reason i know this is bc ive played this 10s of times as i can recall, and surprisingly some 2000s dont know about it yet, although they dont blunder mate ofc
