He's probably cheating. He may be on the beta version but that doesn't mean he's not cheating. Its almost impossible anyway.

It's not imposiible because it is a stalemate trap, which is very easy to sustain eevery move continously.
Of course not, betas are full of bugs. Why would I ever want to join that
Beta gives explanation to moves but floods games with brilliant moves
I got 38 brilliant moves!!!!!! https://www.chess.com/analysis/game/live/20874037197?tab=review
i answered a question for maximum amount of brilliant moves. this is good.
technically brilliant moves don't matter if you don't understand whats brilliant about them but yeah this is good.
also 38 brilliant moves seem unlikely... is it possible you might be using a bugged version or slightly older version of chess.com? doesn't seem legitimate for some reason.
It was completely legitimate.
Chess.com is changing the definition of brilliant moves.
I took a look at most of the moves and they weren't brilliant. In almost every single brilliant move the king could've taken the rook.

But if the King took the Rook it would've been stalemate.
Apparently the new "Game Review" feature, which has replaced the stingy "Report" feature, is much more generous when awarding "Brilliant" moves as a game I had previously sent through Report that awarded me zero Brilliant moves has now awarded me one Brilliant move when running it through the Game Review. And the move was a piece sacrifice so even though "brilliant" may be an exaggeration at least I was "rewarded" for being brazen enough to give up material.![]()
