4-Player Chess and why it is not good to start out with

The reason of this is because you have 4 players instead of the classic two, which means you then have to watch the ENTIRE board to make sure you don't make a game-costing move. While 4-Player can be fun, (especially with teams) but it can also be extremely frustrating if you have just started out with chess. At least with 2-Player, it searches for a person at your level of play, so it's more fun to play, and you don't lose on your first game...
