A question about rating for 4 Player Chess: I always get 3 Wins for 1st place and 3 Losses for 4th place, but for 2nd place i get something between 0.2 Wins or even 0.1 Losses, and it varies every game without any obvious logic.
Can someone explain this to me?
That means you are not strong enough as a second contender.
What do you mean by not strong enough? If my rating is lower than that of my opponents, I should benefit more from a 2nd place, so I don't understand what you mean.

So I'm punished for getting 2nd place too often and not winning?
Don't overthink it, 4 player chess is one of the best variant. Don't believe too much in what I say. And yes, I do think it is punishment for finishing 2nd. And, better still, enjoy that game of 4 player chess.
4 player chess crashes on a daily bassis. It's been a year. How about the staff of this terrible managed website start working properly?
at the moment it is almost impossible to play 4 player chess because at least one or more incl. myself are having internet issues . . ., but I know better times are coming
Their increase in members has overloaded much and they’re yes working on it, but yeah it would be grand were that solved today.
