5 year Dhruva reached 1390 USCF.

Very good.  Has he turned 6 yet.  Last I checked he was still getting used to the clock and was 1000 rated.  That picture is great!

Actually at six and with a 1400 rating, I really can see good prospects for him.  I mean GM at least lol

One day at a time, one day at a time! Was a great day at chess here in Pa! 9 masters played at the Ruben Shocron Memorial! ChessKid players did well, (Unrated to 1662)! Tanishq drew a master level player and beat another player he had only lost to multiple times. Progress! Gracy 1387 won against a 2000. These are the days for celebrating one victory at a time! No hurries, No worries!

My advice: Keep it fun. You're dealing with a child... don't turn chess into a boring chore. Keep the game fun.

From my opinion.... u should be contact for coach....because they know how make it fun game & more informative for a 5 year child.He also motivates & give him a sideview of chess.If all your member focus on his ability & arise it.I think new record of youngest gm will be broke of Sergey Karjakarin.:):)....Best of Luck...
