50 points per win

I just played a guy who was playing me and getting 50+ points per win in 15-10 play. How is this possible? I have cream people and the highest I have seen is 14.
He was at 800 even when he started. Close to 1200 after 4 games.

He beat you 3 times and gained 90, 55 and 38 points. So it declines as he plays more games. You only lost 10 points altogether.
I am not worried about his rating. I was wondering if there is something I was missing on how to get points.
