I assume that chess dot coms app has this programmed in and it will automatically draw. anyone know for sure?

I believe it should.  But it will be very rarely (if ever) seen.  I have played chess here since 2009 and have yet to see it even when watching friend's game!

It's not automatic. Same as threefold, it has to be claimed by pressing the draw button.
