What is the point of points?

I've heard the reason 'it lets other members know how active you are', but if the activity is just 'chat' like you say, then where is the value?

AWARDCHESS

It is not just a chat, like now!

Every time, when I submit a new Forum, Blog, or reply to someone, I got 1 point!

Some players just use 'lol' 100 times per day, and got 100 points, either...

shane97

Yes alot do

Manchero

or 'first', 'easy', etc. Oh yeh, look at that, I got another point! Tongue out

     congrads,

only 992,000 more and you'll own the place

Manchero

maybe people think they will actually achieve something by gaining a huge number of points

but why?

i've heard it said that American's don't get irony, but I thought you were ok with sarcasm ;)

AWARDCHESS

I do not play that game...

I just want to say something in mind, or to do something, like submit new Matches, Forums, Blogs... Or make a fun with friends...

I know, that empty points are just nude!

I prefer to count the circles on the water, when I throw a stones, otherwise it will be a meaningless waist of time! / As a Russian Satiric Kozma Prutkov pointed out about 130 years ago.../
