Why do you disagree with his trade?
Well I'd rather offer a draw at move 10 than accept my own defeat at move 40
By drawing here you are holding back your own learning process. How would this game have played out if you'd have played Be2? Or d4? Or Qb3? Now you will never know and learn from your mistakes. You can learn so much more from a loss, than a win (or draw ftm)
Preferring a draw over a loss is logical in e tournament game, but not in a casual game like this. If you dont like closed positional games, i'd advice you to avoid the English opening. Whatever you do, please dont draw at move 10 :(
Funny thread title...The game was anything but intense. MAYBE it might have gotten intense had it reached the middlegame.
I agree with the others - Agreeing to a draw at move 10 means nobody learned anything.
I made better moves than most of you morons, I learned to call a draw at a strategic time before my opponent could outplay me. I simply asked you people to analyze the game that was played with the moves that were made, not the game you would have played. ALl of you saying the same thing just proves to me that you all have a rather basic and common knowledge of chess.
Ugh, this post is nothing more than trolling! Of course neither side would make opening blunders!! Had the game lasted about 50-60 moves, I would have been amazed at ZERO blunders. But this... is pathetic. And, I agree with many other posters, why play if you are going to draw so early?!
Yep, you caught me, that was totally my intention. I just wanted to troll all of you. You're just a moron who cant offer any better than the most basic insight.
