Which web browsers have you tried in testing this phenomenon. I have found in the past that problems like this manifested in certain versions of certain browsers. Related to Java or Javascript I think.

recently after some chess.com site update, there is a bug in Crazyhouse. when u take a piece to place on board and then u change ur mind and want to put it back, it places in a corner of chess board as ur move!!
i have lost a few games bcoz of this bug. and its not only me. when i played and lost bcoz of it, my opponent said he had the same problem too.
so plz consider solving it.
