a lot people says blitz is good for improving skills, and a lot of people says no

What should i do? I think rapid is better but I am wondering if blitz is better.

For most people rapid is better if they want to improve, but blitz can work as well.

I agree with #2 you should start with rapid first but try out blitz chess to see how well it goes cause blitz chess can be handy specifically for intuition

If your goal is to improve your overall chess understanding and climb the rating ladder, rapid might be more beneficial. If you want to improve your ability to handle time pressure and recognize patterns quickly, then blitz can be useful.
