Abandon Games?

Why are some many players abandoning games? Why don’t they have the courtesy to resign?

To give them the benefit of the doubt, it could be they actually lost connection. Other than that yeah it sucks, but the game abandons rather quickly so it's not too bad. Besides, it just means you get to look at your good position for longer!
