when you receive a recommendation for a game, it shows also "Similar skill vs OW/OD/OL" and these three abbreviations are in three different colors. What do they mean?

The W means wins against that opponent, the D means draws against that opponent, and the L means losses against that opponent.
For your example, your don’t have any wins, draws, or losses against the opponent for the recommended match.
