I just had a daily game pop up In my list of games. Not knowing where this game had come from and the fact I had enough games on the go already I clicked abort at which point it said the other person won by resignation. This is so annoying as I've been trying hard to get my rating up and then this happens. 😔

 Are you in any groups or teams? It may of been a match through that which you didn't realise in which case an abort may (i think) be counted as a loss.

Yes, when you abort too often, future aborts are classed as resignations.

[COMMENT DELETED] That was rude. I wàs one move from mating my opponent and if she missed the one minor move that would continue the game I had it! I texted her the move and consequently lost. What was that? Chivalry? Chess players are a different breed.

I apologize. I actually lost once while playing drunk, I texted the opponent and said so. I was speaking for myself.
