Why is it considered to be a poor sport if you abort too many games?

But a lot of the opponents that I've gotten paired with seem pretty suspicious, so I don't want to play them. Why should I have trouble finding games when I'm doing chess.com a favor by reporting these people?

Aborting too many games, regardless of your rationale, is considered poor sportsmanship. Play the game, report, and block.
