About tomorrow's death match time.

In the main article that talks about the death match you can read this: June 9 at noon Eastern, 9 a.m. Pacific.

I don't undersantd wether it is Pacific or Eastern time; could someone please clarify such sentence to me? I'm inclined to think it is Pacific, mainly because it says so in the big advertise in the home page of this site. But why is "Eastern" there?

I don't understand why they call them "Shoelaces". Isn't it obvious if they are laces on shoes that they are shoe laces, can't we drop the "shoe" part as redundant? For that matter, everyone can see they are laces too, so why state the obvious?

You could always go to the west coast to watch  the death match. Maybe you could also do a stand up routine in LA.
