In real life, a nice handshake or good game would end the game, but on Chess.com? Not widely used for me!

Jeez, it's just a friendly 10 minute game, or 20 minute or whatever. No reason to give people the silent treatment and not be nice.

what am i supposed to say? ¨get better¨ or ¨you suck¨ or ¨go back to checkers¨???

None of that--that's just insulting the poor fellow, I'm talking about the equivalent of a handshake or acknowledgement, or even a compliment on something they did well or challenged you with. Like "good game, that was a hard exchange to calculate on d4" seems fine. Or "good game, that was a tough board"? Or "good game, I hadn't seen that opening before and it was a fun game"?
