Accuracy Lower, Longer Game

Hey,
I just noticed my average accuracy rate for 10 min games is a bit lower than my 5 min games.  Should it be the other way around? Maybe its because I've played more games in 10min so I'm higher rated, and better competition makes my accuracy to go down? Thanks!

I guess nobody else in the world has experienced this. Quite amazing!

Are you left-handed?

No.

Perhaps you have my problem, overcalculating in longer time controls, rather than following my intuition.

maybe you play more complicated chess in long time controls. In blitz you may just play it safe, while you take more risks in rapid.

Seems quite hypocritical coming from you 😂

?? I get higher accuracies in my rapid games. Maybe you misread the topic.

Well the amount of time you have is the same for you and your opponent, whether it's classic, rapid, blitz, or bullet. Your accuracy does not depend solely on your moves. If your opponent plays great moves, it's harder for you to find the best moves, which lowers your accuracy. However, if your opponent plays bad moves, say because they have less time, it's easier for you to find the best moves, which should result in a higher accuracy for you.
