how can add friends ?

Run your cursor over their name.  Click on View Profile.  Now you're on their homepage.  Right under the person's avatar is a list of things you can do; Add To My Friend List is one of them.  Of course it is up to the person receiving the friend request whether or not to accept your friend request.

another thing you can do is accept friend requests, if they have sent you any :)
