Adjusting to longer time controls

I've found an excellent psychological tool to adjust to longer time controls for those of us who are habituated to 5 min or 3 min. Basically I realize that I just bliz out the moves till I get into a losing position which is when I stop blitzing and start meditating on my lost positon. Now I decide to look at every position as if it was a los t position so then I stop blitzing out.
