Hello everyone,
I’m currently rated around 1700 on Chess.com and feel that my opening play is holding me back from breaking into the 1800–1900 range. I’d like to build a balanced, flexible repertoire that doesn’t rely on memorizing endless theory but still gives me playable positions with winning chances. I tend to gravitate toward solid, positional systems, but I’m also open to sharp lines if they’re manageable.
