You just need logic, obviously you need some IQ but it doesn't need to be particularly high

I said more than 100

Its sligthly over mean value

It doesn't even have to be more then a hundred, a player with an IQ of say 80 can still be a great chess player.

for GM you need tallent to chess

Not really. A child playing from age 3 is almost agrrunteed to get there, if they get all the coaching they need and focus on the game.

i dont think so. look at anna cramling for example. has 2 GMs for parents and has been playing chess all her life but is about 2200 fide

She didn't get coached with enough intensity and she just didn't love the game or have the passion which is understandable. She also said she hated playing chess competitively

Again the polgar sisters were all GMs, Judit Polgar was one of the greatest in the world. There are examples to counter balance yours. I also think this conversation is getting increasingly more random. Tying back to where we started I would like to say that I believe @GMlightining2200 can absolutely become a titled player in the next few years as you said.

Yea becoming a titled player is going to be easy for me in my opinion. I am probably already candidate master level in blitz, but we're gonna get there for sure!!

I don't think stamina will be a problem for you, you will likely be very good at classical

uh I try to keep to myself, be kind with your opponent, if you do end up losing a match just be a good sport imo

Avatar of Just_an_average_player136

I realized if you bongcloud and waste tonnes of moves you should just trade everything down

Avatar of chesssblackbelt

yeah whenever you're defending for your life or really undeveloped you should try and liquidate (trade down)

Avatar of chesssblackbelt

less pieces attacking you the better

More cat pics the better
