Your asking if it plays perfectly.... No, it doesn't.... Also, nice title.... Some religions are jokes people...
Alpha Zero Versus The Flying Spaghetti Monster?

The speculation is that chess is a draw with perfect play and most indications, even at the engine level, seem to indicate that. So, the vast majority of games will still be draws, unless you give some constraints, like forcing certain openings, which may or may not be draws with perfect play (it is very possible that some openings are wins for one side or the other).

Alpha Zero doesn't have the right to play against a theoretical perfect opponent until it defeats Stockfish first in a fair tournament.😐

The Flying Spaghetti Monster would touch Alpha Zero with His noodly appendage at the beginning of the match, in the traditional pre-match 'handshake'. In all likelihood, this would be akin to a lightning strike, and as a result Alpha Zero would short circuit and fail to make a move. FSM v. AZ 1000-0
Two questions for my fellow chess fanatics:
1) If Alpha Zero played 1000 games (500 as white, 500 as black) against a God-like perfect table base of chess, what would the outcome be? Would AZ get any draws? Would it even score some wins, assuming the game is a forced win for white or even a forced win for black (i.e. move 1 is zugzwang for white)?
2) If humanity embarked on a 10,000 year project to create the best possible chess engine--and we singularly devoted all our resources to this endeavor--how much better would this ultra engine be than AZ? How much worse than God? What would its 1,000 game match vs AZ look like? What about its 1,000 game match vs God?
Speculate!
