Don't need any chess detectives to spot you from a mile away.

You are Obviously suffering from some kind of Former Member Syndrom! (F.M.S)

Is there a warrant out for your arrest on chess.com? Why do you keep coming back under different names? Have the mods decided that you are a spammer?

Ban the chess? GENUIS!

Its a disaster because its Anand fault that he wont the first game with  star candidate Aronian and in second head to head fight wth Aronian, Aronian got bored after 19th move and offered draw to him. It was Anand's fault that he had beaten  Mamedyarov purly a technical game and later Mamedarov had beaten Aronian. It's Anand fault that he had beaten Tapalove and he is the culprit that he was submissive to Anand but had beaten another favored candidate Kramanik. It’s a huge fault of Anand that he is still unbeaten after 9th round. Guess he should resign  from here and go back to Madras..lol

Yes! it's All Anand's fault especially if he gets near the final and just loses because it's his own fault! Yell

What is the cause of so much anti-Anand sentiment I find here at chess.com? I can understand the general idea that it would be interesting to have someone new play Carlsen, but they are simply not playing as well as Anand. For all his immense talent, Aronian is playing very unsteadily. How then would he be likely to fare against Magnus? If Anand continues to dominate the candidates then obviously he deserves to be the challenger. Why would anyone feel otherwise?

DrCheckevertim

I feel like many people were upset by the recent WCC, and see it as proof that Anand can't hang with Carlsen.

I guess Alekhine proved he couldn't hang with Euwe?

IAssuming Anand wins candidates I think he will give Carlsen a tougher fight this time. If I was a gambling man I would bet on Carlsen, but not necessarily by big odds. I don't see that anyone else could give Magnus a better fight than Anand. Maybe in the future Caruana (or Nakamura if his personality matures).

I would like to see Garry Kasparov play Magnus Carlsen again.

Did everyone know that Kasparov is the singular link between Carlsen, Anand and Nakamura?  Garry Kasparov has worked with or trained all of those players at some point in their chess careers

Believe it or not, Kasparov is probably still a better chess player than Magnus Carlsen.

This is very doubtful. He has been retired since 2005, and he lost to Kramnik without winning a game in 2000 while near his peak level.

I believe that Kasparov worked with Magnus Carlsen for approximately 12 months.

At the time, Carlsen was rated #4 in the world.  After his tutelage, Carlsen became the highest rated player ever.

Anand worked with Kasparov as well before his 2010 World Chess Championship and ended up winning it all.

Nakamura worked with Kasparov too.

Euwe was Joke! as BAD! as Lame Lasker both known as  (The Two players ? No one Quotes!) because they were Not! Original players! Wink

Looks like Anand is going to win...he didn't drop a single game to either Kramnik or Aronian, and with 3 rounds left to go, I don't see what's going to stop him.
