Andrew Tate's idea for a new chess variant thats in the middle game

It would be like 960 but it would start in the middle game with a roughly equal position. The computer would create the position by playing out two standard openings against each other plus 5 moves on each side. Each player could choose their opening or let the computer select one at random.
I think this would be appealing because you don't have to memorize openings but you start out with a board that looks like an actual chess game.
