critter is on scid on androids. It ponders like a real one.

do not undestand if Houdini will be ported, I cannot believe somebody did not compiled as UCI.

Houdini has only windows compiles (32 and 64-bit) and is closed source, so not much to be done.

No, critter is somewhat stronger than Stockfish (atleast under windows and linux). It may not mean much in android environment, where the cpu power is quite limited.

Stockfish is available for Android. It is also strong and is one of the top chess engines

Use Droidfish, quite strong with the Stockfish 4.
