Annotated games

If anyone has a minute to explain how I can annotate a game and post it like I've seen other members do here in the forums, with side variations and whatnot, I'd appreciate it. I just want to discuss one of my friend's games that was played here on chess.com by private messaging him my notes. Thank you

The advice depends on your device & app that your using, here's a link of previously asked/ answered questions: https://www.chess.com/forum/search?keyword=How+to+annotate

99% of the time I use my mobile phone via the web.

I copy the PGN into clipboard, then paste into Memo, then add/ edit any notes using these brackets {annotation notes}.

Happy to help, apparently these {  } are called curly brackets or braces.

Could I annotate without the use of Clipboard?

Brendan_UK

Hi Piperose, yes you can, you'll best to find the answer for your particular set up here: https://www.chess.com/forum/search?keyword=How+to+annotate though please let us know if you have any difficulty finding it wink.png

From what I've read it's not possible via the app., though this might have changed with the v.3 fixes.

Can anyone out there confirm/ clarify this?

Piperose

Hey Brendan, I was not aware of the bugs, or fixes. This thing here was something I'd only toyed with recently on Mobile.

Sent you a PM. Thanks.
