Annotated Master Games

Hey! I want to start looking over master's games on a regular basis to help train. When I hear to get a collection of master's annotated games... Is this basically any book out there with a strong chess player writing about there games? For example, I have a random book titled "Hacking up the King" by IM David Eggleston. It has a few different topics, and goes through his games as he talks about them. Is this all that is meant by a book of annotated games by a master?? Does anyone have particular recommendations for any books? And also, do you feel a book like "Winning With The Spanish" by GM Anatoly Karpov is too focused on an opening to be a good selection to start with?

Anyone's input is appreciated, thanks!

You might also want to try Best Lessons of a chess coach by Weermantry and Simple Chess by Michael Staen. Both are excellent.

It must be best game collections I was trying to think of! When a master chooses games of their own, and includes their own annotations. Thanks for clearing that up Lasker1900. And HolyKing for your suggestions as well.
